What are Distillates?

The distillate, in short, is a highly refined hemp extract derived from hemp flower and hemp biomass. Distillate typically contains around 80% CBD with the balance including minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant oils and extracts.

CBD distillate contains an array of cannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins, and fatty acids that are very beneficial to the body. There are negligible amounts of THC remain after distillation. The Broad Spectrum CBD distillate goes through special processing to remove all of the THC. As a result, you will not become high.

The distillate, which extracts as a yellow-amber honey-like liquid, has become the most common alternative to CBD isolate when it comes to hemp products.  The high-quality distillate most often is extremely viscous and has a light golden color to it with little to no taste or smell.  Removal of THC makes the distillate completely legal to sell in retail stores.

Full or Broad Spectrum?

CBD distillate comes with either a broad spectrum or a full spectrum of cannabinoids.  The difference between these terms is THC. Broad-spectrum distillates have all of the same compounds, except that the THC. The entourage effect without the risk of ingesting THC  becomes immensely important for interested consumers.  As a result, THC-free distillate is generally the most expensive CBD derivative available.
